Lsst Ltd terms and conditions apply to the contract to the exclusion of any other terms that you seek to impose or incorporate, or which are implied by law, trade custom, practice or course of dealing.
1. classes
Our classes are weekly ongoing membership-based classes. Pupils remain in the same class until they progress to the next level (or you request to change time). At this point a different class is selected to accommodate and further their progression. Every September our schedule changes for all pupils to allow for new school, nursery and household schedules.
2. one to one lessons
We offer a limited number of One to One lessons. Bookings for these lessons are available to members and non-members and can be made online.
3. ad hoc lessons
During certain times in the year we are able to offer pre-arranged Ad Hoc lessons. Please email for further information.
4. booking
With the exception of One to One and Ad Hoc lessons, all lessons are offered on a membership basis and continue on an ongoing cycle of 12 months from September to the end of August.
5. payment
Ongoing membership swimming fees are payable monthly in advance by Direct Debit. These are calculated on 4 lessons per month over a 12-month period from September to the end of August allowing for 48 teaching weeks per year.
Direct Debits are collected on the 1st day of each calendar month or the first banking day thereafter. Should your direct debit be declined, we will try a further two times to collect again. One to One and Ad Hoc lessons must be paid in full prior to the lessons starting.
6. registration fee
Upon enrolment, a non-refundable registration fee of £70 is payable per swimmer for ongoing classes. A registration fee is not required for One to One and Ad Hoc lessons.
7. advance fees
These are for lessons received prior to your direct debit commencing.
8. direct debit
We use an online platform GoCardless for the collection of direct debits. Upon completion of your online registration forms you will be asked to set up your direct debit via GoCardless. Direct Debit payments apply to ongoing memberships only.
9. missed lesson allowance
Each individual membership (not One to One or Ad Hoc lessons) includes a missed lesson allowance of up to 4 lessons per year. This means that for any lesson missed (up to a maximum of 4) your direct debit will be reduced to reflect the number of class/es you will not attend.
This allowance is primarily for lessons you cannot attend due to school and nursery activities and/or sport events, holidays and unforeseen circumstances. For lessons missed due to medical reasons, please refer to our illness clause No.16 within these terms and conditions.
It is not a requirement to use your missed lesson allowance but it must be noted that the allowance per membership does not carry over to the next teaching year, and therefore any allowance not used will expire on the last teaching day in August.
This allowance is subject to the following conditions:
- 9.1 All missed allowances will be activated after the 3rd month of all new memberships.
9.2 Allowances can be used as a four-week block, or the 4 lessons can be divided throughout the year between September to the last teaching day in August.
9.3 Allowance is pro-rated depending on when you start lesson in that year and can be rounded either up or down.
9.4 When an allowance request has been issued, it cannot be reversed and no exceptions can be made.
9.5 Allowances are for upcoming lessons only and cannot be backdated.
9.6 Allowance requests received before 16th of the month will be reflected in the following month’s direct debit.
9.7 Allowance requests received after 16th of the month will be reflected up to 7 weeks later.
9.8 Your direct debit will then be reduced to reflect the number of lessons you will miss for each allowance request.
9.9 Allowance not used within the year cannot be rolled over to the following year, and will be lost.
9.10 Allowance cannot be used as the 4-week cancellation notice period.
9.11 Our annual teaching calendar year runs from September to the end of August. Any cancellations before the end of August will be subject to charges if excess missed lesson allowance has been taken.
10. cancellation of membership
Four weeks notice is required in writing via email to cancel your membership. Once your request to cancel has been received, we will respond by confirming the date of your last lesson and details of your final payment if applicable.
Should any fees be due, this amount will be collected via your existing direct debit. Once this final payment has been received, we will confirm the cancellation of your membership via email, receipt of the final payment as well as the cancellation of your direct debit by us. We ask that you do not cancel your direct debit before this point.
On occasion a refund will be due. We will request your bank details once in order to process any refund due. Please submit these in a timely manner as no refunds will be issued 8 weeks after the date of your cancellation. Should a refund be made in the form of a cheque, please note they generally expire within 6 months from the date of issue. Requests to reissue cheques that have been lost or not banked will not be honoured if older than 3 months.
11. re-registration
Please be certain of your cancellation as the registration fee will be applied again upon re-registration.
12. card payments
For payment of other services such as ad hoc lessons and shop items, we accept most major debit and credit cards. Payment for private lessons is made online and are subject to the relevant terms & conditions.
13. One to One & Ad Hoc lessons (members & non-members)
Payment must be made in full when booking, this will secure your booking. We are under no obligation to refund or transfer your payment in the event that you are unable to attend a lesson or part of a series of lessons booked.
14. lesson times
Punctuality is essential – latecomers disrupt lessons and may not be accepted into the class.
15. when we cancel a class
On occasion, due to unforeseen circumstances Lsst Ltd may have to cancel lessons. On such occasions as much notice as possible will be given and a make-up class for the missed lesson will be arranged. Please try to be flexible when arranging your make up class. Make up lessons have an expiry of 8 weeks from the date of the missed lesson. Should you miss your make-up lesson it cannot be rearranged.
16. when you miss a lesson
Any lessons missed cannot be made up. We are under no obligation to offer make up classes for missed lessons due to illness. For serious/exceptional illness, allowances in the form of make-up classes may be considered. Please refer to our make-up policy (17.1) below for illness only. Please also refer to the missed lesson allowance clause 9 for missed lessons or if you plan to miss lessons for an extended period.
17. policy for missed lessons due to illness
In order for us to approve a make-up lesson for illness, we accept the following documents that must be dated and include the child’s full name;
- 1. Doctor’s note or date letter from a medical professional relating to the recent illness.
2. Photo/scan/copy of prescription letter/medication (named & dated)/Personal Child Health Record stating illness/Medical appointment letter
Medical documentation mut be submitted within two weeks of the missed lesson.
Approved make-up lessons cannot be booked more than two weeks in advance.
This illness policy does not apply to sibling, parent or carer illnesses.
Please be flexible when arranging your approved make-up lesson.
Make-up lessons have an expiry of 4 months from the date of the missed lesson.
Should you not attend your make-up lesson it cannot be rearranged and will be lost.
Should you cancel your membership, any unarranged make-up lessons need to be arranged and attended before you cancelation.
18. infectious illnesses
Do not attend classes if your child suffering an infectious illness such as chicken pox, conjunctivitis, hand foot and mouth, impetigo etc. until the symptoms have cleared. Under no circumstances must anyone suffering from symptoms or occurrences of diarrhoea and vomiting attend swimming until they have been fully clear of these symptoms for at least 48 hours prior to your next lesson. Please note: Pupils suffering from any of the above symptoms are not automatically eligible for a make-up lesson.
19. nut free
Please note that our premises are nut free zones. For the safety of our children with nut allergies, we request that NO nuts or products containing nuts are brought or consumed on the premises.
20. annual breaks
The end of August (dates vary), Christmas and Easter periods are our standard club breaks. Members are not charged for these periods. Take note of the specific dates upon registration. These are also posted on our website and on the notice board. For the sake of continuity, we do not break for half term.
21. adverse weather
We are under no obligation to refund lessons missed due to a pool closure caused by adverse weather, likewise if you are unable to attend lessons due to adverse weather local to you while the pool remains open. We will make reasonable attempts to reschedule lessons should they be affected by adverse weather however these are not guaranteed and can take time to arrange.
22. change of members details
Parents are responsible for the notification of any changes to their address, contact details, pupil’s health and/or condition and also if there is a change of care-giver. These changes and any other relevant changes should be made in writing and conveyed to the administration department. The security and care of our pupils is of paramount importance to us. 23. increase of fees
Lsst Ltd reserves the right to increase membership costs. All members will be given sufficient notice in advance.
24. communication
For last minute changes that affect many customers, Lsst will communicate mainly via email as well as email blast from our database. This correspondence can land in your junk/spam box. Please check your junk/spam mailbox regularly to avoid missing any important correspondence from us.
25. reserving the right to amend our terms & conditions
We reserve the right to change or add to these terms and conditions for legal, safety or other substantive reasons or in order to assist the proper deliver of tuition at our club. We will send you notice of any such modifications at least one month in advance before the modifications take effect.
26. insurance
For insurance reasons, failure to agree to and submit our terms and conditions prior to your first lesson means your child will not be able to attend his/her first lesson or any lesson thereafter until the terms and conditions have been received. As a specific class will have been allocated for your child, fees will still be due in the event the terms and conditions have not been submitted.
27. accompanying adults
Strictly no children are to be left unattended at any time. Outside of their class all children are the sole responsibility of the parent or carer. Parents or carers must not leave the premises during their child’s lesson. We ask that all children are accompanied when visiting the toilet if they are unable to do so independently. Parents and carers must not leave the premises during their child’s lesson.
28. personal property
Parents/Carers are responsible for the security and safe use of all personal property including money, mobile phones, keys, watches, computers etc. and Lsst Ltd shall not be responsible for any loss of or damage to any such property.
29. notices
News, general and specific notices are displayed throughout the teaching facilities and/or are emailed to members. It is important that you read and make yourself aware of these notices for health and safety reasons as well as for the efficient running of the premises.
30. accident and injury
Do not run on the premises. In the event of an accident, an accident report form (available at reception) must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian as well as the teacher – should the accident happen in the pool. Lsst Ltd staff hold general & paediatric first aid certifications and take every precaution in the protection and safeguarding of all club members.
Safety Notices are prominently displayed throughout the facility, please take note of these and ask your visitors to do the same. Should you come across any hazard or danger, please report it to reception immediately.
31. watching week
Parents and carers are permitted to watch the lessons once a month with a maximum of 2 members per family. To reduce distraction during the lessons we require full co-operation therefore please observe quietly. Exceptions (apart from parents who work full time and Grandparents visiting from afar) to our watching week policy cannot be made. Please take note of our watching week procedures on our website.
32. video and photography
Video and photography are not permitted anywhere in the facility.
33. complaints
Complaints should be directed in writing to the administration department by email. Any reasonable complaint shall receive fair and proper consideration.
34. photographs, images and promotional material
It is the custom and practice of Lsst Ltd. to include some photographs or images of pupils in our promotional material, social media, website or to publicise events and the achievements of our pupils. These images may be taken in and around the swim school and will not be used by Lsst Ltd for any other purpose.
We will never include the names and ages of the pupil without prior consent from the parents. If you do not consent for your child to be photographed you can ‘Opt Out’. Simply send an email stating your request to ‘Opt Out’. We will respond by acknowledging your request.
35. safeguarding policy
Lsst Ltd are committed to providing a safe and positive environment for all our pupils and take all necessary steps to ensure that good practice procedures at our clubs are adhered to. Our full safeguarding policy can be viewed here. A copy is also held and can be viewed at our club.
34. questions & queries
For general questions and queries please speak to reception. For pupil progress updates and or concerns, please direct these in writing to info@sevenus.com, your email will be forwarded to the relevant person. It is important that instructors are not disturbed or interrupted at the poolside.
36. club attendance procedures
36.1 pool hall
DO NOT enter the pool hall at any time or before the start of your lesson and if there is no instructor present.
36.2 eating
To avoid pool closures, we strongly request that all swimmers do not eat at least 1 hour prior to their lesson.
36.3 reception & waiting areas
To avoid accidents we kindly ask that you do not allow your child to run or climb on the handrails in the waiting area. Please avoid using glass water bottles on the premises.
36.4 changing facilities
Dedicated change areas for mothers and fathers with babies (strictly for under 2’s) are available. A unisex changing area is also available upstairs for pupils over the age of 2yrs. Please store your belongings in the plastic boxes provided and leave the changing tops clear and ready for the following pupil. No food is permitted upstairs in the play area or changing areas.
36.5 shoes
For health and safety reasons and to avoid water contamination everyone is required to remove their shoes before passing through reception. Please use the shoe storage available in the reception area and do not allow your shoes to obstruct any of the entrances or thoroughfairs. Ensure you leave our premises with the correct pair of shoes.
36.6 baby change mat system
For hygiene purpostes, please ensure you follow our ‘used and unused’ baby change mat system that we have in place to ensure necessary hygiene measures are met for our little swimmers.
36.7 nappies
Please discard these in the appropriate bins.
36.8 fish tank
Please don’t touch or bang on the fish tank as it causes unnecessary stress to the fish.
36.9 towels
Please bring your own.
36.10 lost property
We are not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of personal property. The facility is equipped with Lost Property bags so please ask reception if you think you have lost something on our premises. Any items not claimed within one month will be donated to charity.
36.11 waiting areas
For the comfort of everyone we ask all visitors, carers and pupils to keep noise levels to a minimum. For everyone’s safety please do not let the children in your care run in these areas in order to avoid slips and trips. Please encourage them to tidy up after themselves. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated.
36.12 café & hot drinks
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and various food items are available to purchase. Please consider the surroundings and keep your lid on your hot drink to avoid any potential accidents.
Hot drinks along with food are not to be consumed upstairs in the pool, play and changing areas for hygiene reasons. The cafe is independently run, for any queries or concerns please send us an email we will forward your email to café management.
36.13 televisions
For your comfort we have a CCTV system installed to enable daily viewing of the classes. On occasion some major events or sports events will also be shown on this screen. The children’s TV area shows children’s content and is ‘tucked away’ should you not wish your children to watch.
36.14 pushchairs & bicycles
These must be kept outside the building and can be locked up using the chain provided on the shop front. We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to push chairs or property left in them. Please ensure no valuables are left in the pushchair and they are locked up. Locks are available for purchase at reception. No pushchairs are to be taken through the building.
36.15 scooters
These can be left in the reception area provided they do not cause any obstruction. If you are unsure where to leave yours, please ask reception.
36.16 upstairs playroom
This area is for the benefit of all our children but has also been designed to help parents when they have more than one child with them. Located next to the upstairs changing room allowing your little one to be in a safe and comfortable environment that is in view while you get your other children ready before and after swimming. No food or drink is allowed in the playroom and please encourage your children to tidy away before they leave.
36.17 food & drink
No food (other than water and necessary baby’s formula and milk in a bottle) is allowed upstairs or at the poolside.
36.18 personal property
Parents & Carers are responsible for the security and safe use of all personal property including money, mobile phones, locker keys, watches, computers etc.
36.19 notice
News, general and specific notices will be communicated to you via email. Many are displayed mostly throughout the teaching facilities but some can also be found on our website and social media platforms.
36.20 lessons
Lesson duration is 30 minutes except for the Development Level which 60 minutes.
36.21 questions & queries
For general questions and queries please speak to reception. For lesson queries and pupil progress updates and or concerns, please direct your queries in writing to the club managers concerned. It is important that instructors are not disturbed or interrupted at the poolside.
36.22 swimwear
The wearing of loose fitting swimwear or baggy shorts is not advisable as it prevents ease of movement in the water. For health and safety reasons, all babies must wear two layers – swim nappies with a fitted swimming costume over.
36.23 hygiene
To ensure that a high standard of water hygiene is maintained, all pupils and accompanying adults must shower before entering the pool.
36.24 swim caps
It is compulsory for all pupils to wear swimming caps except in the cases of babies with little hair. Swimming caps keep hair out of the face and eyes and help maintain pool hygiene. Please ensure all swim caps and goggles are fitted before the lesson commences. All adults entering the pool are required to tie their hair up accordingly.
36.25 showering & water
Water is precious so please be respectful of the use of water and keep showers short. Please encourage your children to be water wise.
36.26 toilet facilities
All children must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the toilet facilities if they are unable to do so independently. It is recommended that all children visit the toilet and blow their nose before commencement of lessons. Each toilet is furnished with a potty and child toilet stand. Please clean these thoroughly after use and leave them, as you would like to find them.
36.27 watching week
Please make yourselves familiar with our watching week policies.
36.28 accident and injury
In the event of an accident, an accident report form (available at reception) must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian as well as the teacher – should the accident happen in the pool. Lsst Ltd staff members hold general & paediatric first aid certifications and take every precaution in the protection and safeguarding of all club members.

36.29 illness
For health conditions leading to the non attendance of more than two consecutive classes, a doctor’s note documenting the absence will be required. Only upon submission of this note can allowances in the form of make up classes be considered – please refer to our make up policy 16.1.
If you or your child is showing persistent symptoms or occurrences of diarrhoea and vomiting, we strongly request that you do not attend class. Under no circumstances must anyone suffering from symptoms or occurrences of diarrhoea and vomiting attend swimming until they been fully clear of these symptoms for at least 48 hours prior to the lesson, and after receiving confirmation to swim again from your doctor.
36.30 child protection
Photos, video and voice recordings are not permitted anywhere in the premises and under any circumstances.
36.31 questions & queries

Any diversion from the above terms and conditions are gestures of goodwill on the part of Lsst Ltd.
LSST is a private club and Right of Admission is reserved.
